The 2020 Black Walnut Festival has been cancelled
It is our pleasure to invite you to join us at the 2021 Black Walnut Festival. The festival features Arts, Crafts, Food and Music in the historic Town of Bethania. Presented by the Town of Bethania this year’s celebration should be an event that one does not want to miss. We are excited about the festival and look forward to seeing you there!
The festival features crafters & artisans who show and sell their creations in one of the state’s most picturesque settings. Historic and beautiful Bethania, North Carolina sets the stage for this glorious event. Food vendors, non-profit displays, and music will be present to round out this day of fun. We are excited about the festival and look forward to your participation! Why do we feature Black Walnuts? The festival celebrates our community’s connection to our region’s landscape. Prior to Bethania’s founding, our area was identified as the Black Walnut Bottom Lands. This rich fertile soil was the primary reason for selecting this site in 1759.
The event will be held in Bethania, 5393 Ham Horton Lane, Bethania NC, on the last Saturday of September in 2021. The Festival opens at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday with closing time set at 4:00 p.m. Join us for a day of food, live music and family fun in the historic Town of Bethania, North Carolina.
Parking is available at Bethania Moravian Church with free shuttle service from Church to Visitor Center
